He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Lucas and Maewood Lucas; his siblings, Bobby Lois Tyree, Linda Bentley, Ligemae Lucas, Elizabeth Anderson, Louisa Sexton, Wilma Collins, Denver Lucas (Duke), Penny Adams, Jenny Lucas and Reta Ballou; and his grandson Jacob Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Banks Lucas; his sons, Mitchell Lucas (Kim) of Somerset, Anthony Lucas (Debra) of Kona and Kevin Lucas (Gina) of Thornton; his sisters, Patty Bentley, Geneva Dollarhide and Rosa Bates; his grandchildren, Hannah Lucas, Tanesha Cornett, Tyler Lucas, Emily Long, Rachel Lucas, Kealan Lucas, Hayden Lucas and Kayden Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Boston Cornett, Landon Lucas and Bodie Cornett.
