He was predeceased by: his parent Thurston Collins; his siblings, Roy, Lester, Billy, Thurston Jr., Estill, Alberta Webb and Lavetta Ann Combs; and his significant other Brenda Kaye Stephens.
He is survived by: his parent Mattie Sergent Collins; his children, Norman Collins of Partridge, Robbie Collins (Katina Collins) of Kingscreek, Jason Collins of Thornton and Lisa Tungate of Indiana; his siblings, Windus Collins, Jesse Collins, Pauline Bates, Gail Franklin, Marietta Spangler, Ruth Isom, Virgie Halcomb, Rena Vae Sturgill and Norma Jean Adams; his grandchildren, Keith, Doug, Katie, Mega and Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Kandace, Tate, Jett, Bryson, Bentley, Clinton, Cooper and Landon; and his nephew Tom Collins.
