He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Paul and Flora Clark Jeffries; his wife Thelma L. Jeffries; and his sister Lois Tabor. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Jeffries Hayden (Bobby) of Utica and Mike Jeffries of Owensboro; his granddaughters, Sarah Simpson (Larry) of Owensboro, Megan Hayden of Tampa, Melissa Hatfield, Julie Hill (Rob) of Ft and Danielle Clary (Gary) of Owensboro; his great grandchildren, Delaney, Ella Hatfield, Hayden Cunnagin, Ava Hill and Peyton Wood; his siblings-in-law, Mark Tabor of The Villages, Florida and Margaret Everett of Lakeland, Florida; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
