He is survived by: his children, Tina McSorley (Danny) of Lancaster, KY and Steve Phillips (Diana) of Winchester, KY; his grandchildren, Christopher McSorley, Shannon McSorley Bishop (Ian) and Aaron Phillips (Alexandra); and his siblings, Marvin Darrell Phillips of Wabash, IN, Paul Phillips of Winchester, KY, Carol Phillips King of Winchester, KY, Roger Phillips of Winchester, KY, Larry Phillips of Winchester, KY, Sharon Phillips Kennon of Clay City, KY., Gilbert Lewis Phillips, Ruth Phillips Shepherd, Roy Stanley Phillips and Thurman Phillips.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel.
