He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronce Powell and Nettie Leger Powell; his daughter Roxie; and his siblings, Bobby, Bea, Helen, Annalee and Mary.
He is survived by: his brothers, Contracting Church, Pine Hill Baptist Church and David Powell (Brenda); his granddaughter Hazel Powell; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Robinson and Austyn Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made to the Funeral Home toward the services of Boyd.
