He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harlan Stepp and Blanche Fisher Stepp. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stepp of Thealka, Kentucky; his children, Lacey Brooke Leckrone of Paintsville, Kentucky and Nathan Curtis Castle of Thealka, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Mia Leckrone, Tessa Leckrone, Jayla Stepp, Callie Campbell and Peyton Mollett; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Harlan Stepp, Jr. (Deanna), Cynthia Inez Stepp of Roanoke and Wendy Lynn Stepp of North Carolina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
