He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lantvit and Pearl Lantvit; and his brothers, Hank and Michael Lantvit. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lantvit; his children, William D. Lantvit (Donna), Mark Lantvit (Christine), John Clark (Cindy) and Kimberly Ann Clark; and his siblings, Harry Lantvit (Phyllis) and Rita Burger (Fred). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
