He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Poole and Ida Ree DeHaven; his wife Ethel Violet Poole; and his grandchildren, Ashley Bell and Michael Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Shortt (Jim), Donnie Poole (Diane), Vicki Dixon (Rodney) and Ron Poole (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sabrina Barnett (Tim), Stephanie Linton (Wayne), David Jones (Dee), Mike Jones (Deanna), Roderick Dixon, Amanda Wimsatt (Chad), Tyler Poole (Tiffany), Cody Poole (Sloane) and Alex Shields (Hunter); and his brother Robert Poole. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren plus 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid, services and burial will be private, family only.
