With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Shelby Watson of Taylorsville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Lee and Bonnie Opal Snider Watson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Scholl Watson of Taylorsville; his children, Sharon Elizabeth Staudenheimer (Thomas) of Louisvlle, Wendy Lynn Casas of Louisvlle, Kelly Thomas Watson of Louisvlle, Chandler Scholl Watson (Nicole) of Taylorsville and Ellery Scholl Watson of Lexington; and his sister Barbara King (Gordon) of Louisville. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 126 Taylorsville Road, Bloomfield, Kentucky 40008.
