It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ron Spadie of Taylorsville, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Spadie and Adele Spadie (Stevenson); and his sister Marcella Coy. He is survived by : his wife Janie Spadie; his children, Mechell Smith (Gary), Andrea Spadie, Ronnie Spadie and Jeff Spadie; his grandchildren, Samantha White (George), Jordan Vellender, Beau Smith, Rachel Spadie, Tiffany Spadie, Nicole Spadie, Kaiden Spadie, Jeffrey Douglass Spadie and Jessica Spadie; his siblings, Jesse Spadie Jr. and James Spadie; and his nephew Mike Coy (Bonnie).

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 15th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).

Burial will be on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 North Dixie Blvd Radcliff, KY 40160.) The family requests that contributions in Ron 's memory be made to The American Heart Association and/or the ASPCA.
