It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Priscilla Rae Penix of Taylorsville, Kentucky, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Penix and Lydia Branham Penix; and her siblings, Dimple Sue Penix and Jimmy Leonard Penix. She is survived by: her children, David Allen McGarey (Karrie) of Copperas, Pamela Kaye McGarey (Jeff Wittman) of Casstown and Paula Renee Castle (Gary) of Taylorsville, Kentucky; her brother Lonnie Lee Penix (Candy) of Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren, Tyler, Callie, Ely, Gannon, Brittany, Ryan, Kaleigh, Madison, Emily, Taylor and Rachel; her great grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Aiden, Jakeb and Kaleb; and her pet Tony.
