He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Daniel and Ida Lucille Crenshaw Hieb; and his wife Janis Newkirk Hieb. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Neale Hieb (Stacy) of Taylorsville and Paul Courtney Hieb (Belinda) of Lexington; and his grandsons, Diego and Gibson Hieb.
