He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Otis Franklin and Almedia Kathryn Franklin (O'Bryan); his brother Thomas Franklin Jr.; his sister-in-law Judy Franklin; and his son-in-law Robert Vest.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Marie Franklin (Winters); his children, Curtis Dean Franklin (Denise), Tina Marie Franklin Vest and James "Jamie" Norman Franklin (Penny); his grandchildren, Jacob Franklin (Amanda), Skylar Vest (Shelby), Noah Franklin (Elisa), Abby Haulk (Rusty) and Sarah Lewis (Dalton); his great grandchild Eli Franklin; and his sister Ella Darlene Franklin Moore (Larry). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
