He is survived by : his wife Ada Jewell; his sons, Patrick Jewell (Jessica) and Blake Jewell; and his siblings, David Thomas Jewell (Susie), Carol Barnes (David), Betty Goodlett (Doug), Tracy Berger (Jim) and Stacy Clemens (John). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
