He was predeceased by: his parents, Earldon Lee and Ruth Elizabeth Morris Shouse; and his siblings, Charles Edwin Shouse and Lurah Jane Clark. He is survived by: his wife Verlie Maddox Shouse of Taylorsville; his sons, Bruce Shouse (Vicky) of Mount Eden and Blake Shouse (Kelly) of Shelbyville; his brother Bill Shouse of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Kristy Armstrong (Keith) of Taylorsville, Heather Hammond (Spencer) of Shelbyville and Spencer Shouse of Shelbyville; and his great grandchildren, Madison Armstrong and Colten Armstrong.
