He was predeceased by: his wife Dolly Mattingly Richardson; his son Darrell Richardson; and his sister Pauline Ferris. He is survived by: his children, Della Swan (William) of Shepherdsville and John Thomas Richardson (Nancy) of Bloomfield; his brother Robert Thomas Richardson of Taylorsville; and his grandchildren, Sara Rogers (Clayton) and Madison Swan.
