He is survived by: his wife Brenda Williams Nethery of Taylorsville; his sons, John Brennan Nethery (Sarah) of Louisville and Jamison William Nethery of Taylorsville; his mother Mary Jordan Nethery of Wilsonville; and his sisters, Elaine Nethery Gaddie of Mount Washington and Suzanne Nethery Becker of Taylorsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
