It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McWhorter Jr. of Taylorsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John B. McWhorter Sr. and Alma Isen McWhorter; his wife Peggy Evans McWhorter; and his siblings, Glenn McWhorter and Gloria Robinson. He was also cherished by four sons, three daughters in law, and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
