He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Taylor and Stattie Merle Taylor; his former wife Barbara Hilbert Taylor; his son-in-law Paul Douglas Herth; his grandson Matthew Ivan Herth; and his siblings, Tom Taylor and Carletta Jewell.
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Taylor; his daughters, Debbie Wilson (Dave) of Crestwood and Joyce Herth of Mt. Washington; his grandsons, Aaron Wilson (Hanna), Tyler Wilson (Cameron), Jared Wilson, Austin Wilson, Daniel Herth (Aleah) and Adam Herth (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Lila, Grey, Clementine Wilson, Rowan, Silas Wilson and Ezra Herth; his stepchildren, Donnie O'Connor of Louisville, Kelly Goad of Taylorsville and Sandy Goad of Bowling Green; his brother Douglas Taylor (Jackie) of Bloomfield; and his sister-in-law Odean Taylor of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
