He is survived by: his wife Gladys Jean Dunker of Taylorsville, Kentucky; his daughters, Tammy Sample (Jeffrey) of Louisville, Linda Al-Majedi (Kareem) of Louisville and Renee Al-Sari (Zuhair) of Taylorsville, Kentucky; his brother Ronald Erdmier (Jackie) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Timothy Abbott (Linda) of Freeport, Daniel Abbott (Emma Escobedo) of Freeport, Luke Abbott (Anna McGee) of Louisville, Athelia Al-Sari (Ibrahim) of Louisville, Naomi Brown (Zachary) of Shannon, Adnan Al-Sari of Taylorsville, Kentucky., Akiel Al-Sari of Taylorsville, Kentucky., Amaar Al-Sari of Taylorsville, Kentucky. and Ameer Al-Sari of Taylorsville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
