With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Ray Thompson (Taylorsville, Kentucky), who passed away on February 18, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie T. Thompson and Mary Chesser Thompson; his wife Frances B. Cook Thompson; his son David Wayne Thompson; his granddaughter Erica Brooke Thompson; and his siblings, Harold, Walter, Virgil and Janie Bell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Thompson Yates of Elk Creek and Selina Thompson-Goode (Joe) of Elk Creek; and his siblings, Charles Owen, Jerry, Gene, Howard, Ann, Linda, Donna, Rita and Peggy. He is also survived by his three granddaughters; his six great-grandchildren; and his two great-great-grandchildren.
