He was predeceased by: his son Martin W. Slucher; and his siblings, Edith Slucher Helton and William H. Slucher. He is survived by: his children, Kitty Earleen Slucher Lawson of Taylorsville, Darris Tucker Slucher (Terri) of Taylorsville and Ernie Ross Slucher of Powell, Ohio. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and his seventeen great-grandchildren; and one nephew and two nieces.
