We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 85, Donnie Allen Gaddie of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wells and Bess Irene Edwards Gaddie; and his brothers, James "Pete" Gaddie, Bennie Dale Gaddie and Larry Glenn Gaddie.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hensley Gaddie of Shelbyville; his children, Jennifer Roberts (Clinton) of Shelbyville and Brian Gaddie (Susan) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Bruce Gaddie of Taylorsville and Rosemary Gaddie Smith (Richard) of Louisville; his sister-in-law Vicki Gaddie of Bardstown; and his grandchildren, Drew Gaddie, Cameron Roberts, Kate Gaddie and Connor Roberts (Lily Roadcap). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville Wednesday (52 W Main St, Taylorsville, KY 40071). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville Thursday (52 W Main St, Taylorsville, KY 40071).
