He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Carroll and Thelma Martin Ethington; his grandson Kalen Barr; and his siblings, Billy Ethington, Bobby "Corn Cob" Ethington, Tommy Ethington and Barbara Ethington.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Barr (Troy) of Mount Washington and Chris Ethington (Niki) of Taylorsville; his siblings, Larry Ethington (Pam) of Mount Washington and Patti Long (Danny) of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren, Billy, Jade, Summer, Bailey and Kemper; his great grandchild Colton; and the mother of his children Mary Ruth Ethington of Taylorsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville Sunday (52 W Main St, Taylorsville, KY 40071). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville Monday (52 W Main St, Taylorsville, KY 40071).
