She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Augustine and Eliza Gladys Hackney Griffin; and her siblings, Joe Griffin, Jr. and Eva Burdette. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Duke; and her grandchildren, Malana, Maddie Schnuerle, Lennon, Bennett and Wade Verner.
