She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth; and her husband James Arnold Bogard Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Gilkey (Wadena), Timmy Gilkey (Lori), James Bogard, Jr., Tracey Gilkey, Jammie Bogard, Shannon Bogard Shelburne (Clayton) and Kenberly Bogard Rogers (Clint); and her sister Brenda Weatherholt (Roy). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
