He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Nelms; his parents, Charles Nelms and Mary Nelms; and his brother Mack Nelms. He is survived by: his sons, Dudley Nelms and Scott Nelms (Dawn); his grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Hannah and Mackenzie; and his siblings, Bill, Laverne, Jo and Helen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
