He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Green and Dade Smith Daugherty; and his siblings, Edna Faukerson, Effie Hook, Joyce Ann Daugherty, Delcie Castell, Wesley, Roy and Carl Daugherty.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Woodcock Daugherty; his children, Joyce Faye Shylock (Charlie) of Beverly Hills, FL., Deborah Lynn Vittitoe (Charles) of Louisville and Paul Daugherty (Nancy) of Taylorsville; his sister Emma Despain of Scottsburg, IN.; his grandchildren, Tony Vittitoe (Kendra), Clay Daugherty (Lauren), Michael Vittitoe and Abbey Daugherty; and his great grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth Vittitoe.
