It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Luella Grundy Pope (Taylorsville, Kentucky), who passed away on October 7, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Eugene, Carlos, Robert and Dan Grundy Jr.; and her grandson Demarcus Downs.
She is survived by: her children, Renita Wakefield (Charles) of Taylorsville, Melinda "Duck" Bowens (Donald) of Shelbyville and Roy Pope Jr. (Ericka) of Taylorsville; her sisters, Margaret Tingle of Taylorsville and Shirley Murphy of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Daniel Wakefield, Charlissa Wakefield, Tiffany OBryan and Roshona Pope; and her great grandchildren, Jayceon Overall, Amari Manica, Dasani Ham and Bayleigh Downs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
