Carney of Taylorsville, Kentucky, born in Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Carney; her son Leslie Donald Carney; her parents, Marvin Cheatham and Maggie Cheatham; her granddaughter Bonnie Faye Campbell; her great grandchildren, Shawn Carney and Jonah McMurray; and her siblings, Katherine Taylor, Isabell Lewis, J. L., Sanford and Kenny Cheatham.
She is survived by: her children, Verlie Campbell, Bonnie McMurray, Ronnie Carney (Sara), Gary Carney (Carol) and David Carney (Judy); and her brothers, Rudy Cheatham, Daniel Cheatham (Elizabeth), Marvin Cheatham, Jr. (Donna), Justice Cheatham and George Cheatham. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic food and beverages are not permitted.
The family requests no flowers to be sent instead all expressions of sympathy may go to the church cemetery fund.
