He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Grout, and Virginia Grout, Sr.; and his siblings, Frank, Laura, Ron and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Grout; his daughters, Lisa Schmidt (Jeff) and Susan Evans (Ray); his brothers, John, Fred, Gary and Michael; and his grandchildren, Ashley Heaps, Jeremy Greer and Erika Petrie. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
