He was predeceased by: his parent Pat Doherty; his son Branden Andrew Doherty; and his siblings, Marti Doherty, Mike Doherty and Bobby Doherty.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Doherty; his siblings, Eddie Doherty and David Doherty (Michele); and his sister-in-law Debbie Doherty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
