He was predeceased by: his father Peter S. Thornton; his brother Reed; and his nephew Tony. He is survived by: his mother Trula M. Thornton (Gibson); his daughter Shana Thornton; his grandchildren, Lyla, Tiberius and Connor Thornton; his brothers, Pete Thornton and Allen Thornton (Shelby); and his nieces and nephews, Allen (Erin), Scott, Winston (Aliyha), Nicholas Thornton, Brittney Cecil (Scott) and Sarah Goodon (Josh).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allison and Rose Funerl Home (5645 Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY 41015). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shelby Christian Cemetery (6675 US-421, Versailles, IN 47042).
