He is survived by: his wife Virginia Moore Schaaf; his children, Jeff Schaaf (Connie) and Jennifer Vonderhaar (Doug); and his grandchildren, John Schaaf (Mariem), Ellen Schaaf and Marissa Vonderhaar.
