He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert, Tom and Dorothy Schawe. He is survived by: his wife Jane Barhorst Schawe; his sons, Ben Schawe (Karen), Doug Schawe (Michele), Dale Schawe (Lisa) and Vincent Schawe (Lisa); his grandchildren, Lauren, Brett, Blake, Sarah, Hannah, Katie, Allie and Sammie; his great grandchildren, Shaylee, Finn, Ada and Crew; and his brother Bill Schawe (Lu Ann). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
