He was predeceased by: his mother Genevieve Tillery; and his siblings, Tom Tillery, Patricia Gripshover, Lois Hardin and Joanne Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Diane Chambers (Jeff), Jim Tillery (Tracie) and Patrick Tillery (Kristin); and his sister Marilyn Gillespie. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
