He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ashbrook and Fannie Cole Ashbrook; his sister Rebecca L. Eversole; and his nephew Srgt. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Ashbrook (Tabitha) and Shéetom "Shée" Ashbrook; the mother of his children Annette Hufferd; his brother Kelvin Ashbrook (Rhonda); his grandson Brennon Ashbrook; and his close friend Tony Wiggins (Vickie). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Barry's name to the Fisher House, 12300 Twinbrook Parkway suite 410, Rockville, MD 20852.
