She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Turner and Polly Combs Turner; and her siblings, Johnny Turner, Bill Turner, Sammy Turner, Matthew Turner, Charlie Turner, America Turner, Dulcenia Turner and Sara Herald.

She is survived by: her sister Martha Herald; and her sister-in-law Mattie Turner. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
