He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Pennington and Geneva Robey Pennington; and his stepdaughter Eva Russom. He is survived by: his wife Scarlett Cranford Pennington; his stepsons, Kelvin Kinkade of Versailles, KY and Joseph Long (Samantha) of Balaton, MN; his sisters, Loyce Katchur of Wimauma, FL and Sue Morris of San Antonio, TX; and his stepgrandchildren, Justus Long, Elizabeth Courtney, Cole Russom and Marshall Russom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
