He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Minton and Martha Minton. He is survived by: his sons, Lee Joe Minton, William Jerrod Minton (Stacey) and Lance Michael Minton (Caroline); and his siblings, Kathy Embry, Charlie Minton, Neil Minton, Marty Minton, Sandy Buchanan, Debbie Scott and Kenny Minton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
