He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sikes and Allivee Ray Sikes; his son Steven Sikes (Steve); his grandson Johnathan Sikes; and his sister Carol Jean Kiefer (Sikes).
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ann Sikes (Birchmeier) of Symsonia; his sons, Jimmy Sikes, Michael Sikes of Paducah and Jeffery Sikes of Warren, Michigan; and his brothers, James K. Sikes of Gilbertsville and Danny Sikes (Bonnie) of Benton, Kentucky. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and cousins.
