It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Douglas Lamar of Sweeden, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lamar and Norma Lamar; his siblings, Travis Lamar and Linda Wells; and his father-in-law Bob Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Lamar; his children, Rebecca Pellman (Chris) of Shepherdsville, Shannon Rust (Kelli) of Glasgow, Brant Wagner (Evelyn) of Vandalia, IL, Matthew Wagner (Aubrey) of Evansville, IN and Joseph Rakestraw (Criksana) of Sweeden; his siblings, Jennettia Crigler (Ed), Fred Lamar (Saundra), Patricia Marsh (Tom), Randy Lamar (Linda), Brenda Lamar (Rick) and Don Lamar (Theresa); his mother-in-law Lillian Mills; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Lamar and Charlie Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
