It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Shofner (Summersville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 15, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Cox and Cora Cox (Herron); her children, Ronald Shofner, Mark Shofner and Rita Gribbins; and her siblings, Hack, Buck, David, Kenneth, Ed and Alien.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin Shofner of Greensburg, Nine; her children, Christopher Schultise of Lebanon, Wendell Shofner (Kim) of Georgia, Donald Shofner (Lisa McGuffin) of Campbellsville, Scott Shofner (Angela) of Summersville, Alvin Shofner of Bardstown, Diane McDonald (George) of Campbellsville, Theresa Goldsmith (Danny) of Shepherdsville, Linda Smith (William Underwood) of Greensburg and Karen Montgomery (James) of Campbellsville; her siblings, Sylvia Combs of Louisville, Wanda Dillander of Greensburg and Thirty; her grandchild Seventy; and her close friend Betty Shelby of Upton. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
