It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie N. Whittaker of Summersville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Patrick Monaghan and Willie Sylvester Vaught Monaghan; her husband Rev. Benjamin Franklin Whittaker; her sons, Earl Benjamin Whittaker and Timothy Franklin Whittaker; and her siblings, Bob Monaghan, Mildred Noffsinger, Ruth Snoor and Mary Beard.
She is survived by: her daughter Ramona Chase of Summersville; and her sister Anna Rhea Walter of Heath, Ohio.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
