The memory of George Luther Skaggs of Summersville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hartley Skaggs and Bertie Lee White Skaggs; his son Bobby; and his brothers, Melvin and Jimmy Skaggs.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Faye Tucker Skaggs; his children, Dennis (Christy Ann) of Washington State, Timmy (Dawn) of Mississippi, Greg (Tara) of Mt Washington, KY and Annie of Bardstown; his sister Sharry; his brother-in-law Jim Daniel of North Carolina; his brother Jerry Skaggs of Campbellsville; and his siblings-in-law, Gwen, Beverly Skaggs of Campbellsville, Curtis Tucker (Jackie) of Alabama and Doug Tucker (Debbie) of Shepherdsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home (209 W Court St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to The Gideons for Bibles or the Dialysis Center of Campbellsville-Fresenius Kidney Care.
