He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack D. Durrett and Ida Oakley Milby Durrett; and his siblings, Elaine Brenton, Frances Roy and J. D. Durrett.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hash Durrett of Summersville; his sons, Jamie (Tina Durrett) of Green County and Jeremiah "Jeremy" Durrett (Robin Britton) of Green County; his grandchildren, Andrew Dial, Leah Dial, Lydia Russell, Breanna Judd and Hadleigh Grace Durrett; his great grandchildren, Lukas and Colton Dial; his brother Bobby; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Durrett of Greensburg and Dennis Hash of Louisville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
