He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim R. Milby and Virgie Alice Milby (Milby); his daughter Sharon Lynn Sidebottom; and his siblings, Adell Durrett Martin, Lucian Milby, Clell Milby, Thurman Milby, Theodore Milby, Alton Milby and Alfred Milby.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Vaughn Milby of Summersville; his son-in-law Jonah Sidebottom; his grandchildren, Daniel Lewis Sidebottom and Autumn Wheat Sidebottom; his brother Ronnie O.; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Milby of Greensburg, Elizabeth A. Milby of Campbellsville, Nancy Milby of Summersville, Ruby Milby of Louisville, William of Greensburg, Janice Vaughn of Greensburg, Donnie of Greensburg and Joyce A. Vaughn of Greensburg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
