He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Raymond Skaggs and Marie Lewis Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife Debra Kay Terry Skaggs of Summersville; his son Steven; his daughter-in-law Keisha Skaggs of Columbia; his daughter Kristi; his son-in-law Marty Young of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Isaiah Young, Isaac Young and Keagan Skaggs (Abby); his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Eva Skaggs of Greensburg; and his nephew Tony Skaggs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at the Green County Memory Gardens (4697 Hodgenville Rd, Greensburg, KY 42743).
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or St. Jude Children's Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home.
