He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Lee Shirley; his parents, James Cleo Shirley and Louise Marie Hayes Shirley; and his sisters, Gladys Smith, Dorothy Bunton and Ann Grider.
He is survived by: his children, Lesa Vandehey (Roger), William Lee Shirley, Jeffrey Neal Shirley (Ronda), Melissa Faye Radford (Chris), Donnie Lamont Tooley and Sherketa Annette Tooley. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home (2232 Summer Shade Rd, Summer Shade, KY 42166). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
