With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon (Fuzzy) McMurtrey of Summer Shade, Kentucky, born in Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on June 2, 2022 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon (Fuzzy) McMurtrey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Harper and Joyce Ann Blankenship Harper. She is survived by: her children, Emily Lewis (Wesley) of Portland, TN, Russ McMurtrey (Erika) of Nolensville, TN and Ty McMurtrey (Emma); her grandchildren, Owen, Easton, Emmitt, Henry Clay McMurtrey and Blakely Lewis; and her siblings, Janetta Kirk (Dickie), Karen [Pedie] Moore (Jimmy), Junior Harper (Teressa), Ashley Harper (Sarah) and Wesley Harper (Angie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
